The overall objective of this project is to identify the requirements, design a completely new data center environment, create an RFP of all specifications and implementation professional services and support elements for the new data center and go out for proposals to achieve the following objectives:

- Evaluate all current IT systems servicing the entire School District and recommend all systems to be kept, upgraded or replaced as it moves to the backup data center.

- Plan and specify the process for the complete decommission the complete current data center environment and move it to a secondary location as the new redundant data center.

- Total replacement of the data center equipment including LAN infrastructure, services, storage, firewalls, cabinets/racks, structured cabling along with rack and stack, configuration and commissioning resulting in a fully operational data center.

- Service contracts for all associated new equipment for the data center.
