The City of Des Moines was looking for an assessment of their current phone system, ancillary telephony services and business requirements, and the development of UC and CC platform specifications and implementation plan to replace the current phone system and contact center system. Note that this project has recently been started therefore we are still in the initial phases of this project.
• Conducted a needs analysis, network and IP readiness. The overall objective of this phase was to research and identify the requirements of a new voice communications system including the readiness of the impacting and adjoining infrastructures with the voice system will be reliant on.
• Specifications for a new Voice system(s) to be utilized by the City for the selection of new cloud-based UC and CC platforms.
• Budgetary projections for purchasing UCaaS/CCaaS and all professional services, technology products or services and hardware that would support the replacement of the existing PBX.
