TMC teamed with the Library to relocate the entire central library from its current site to the Marquette Plaza to allow for demolition and new construction of the permanent facility.
The New Central Library is on the same site as the previous library so TMC had to plan, design, implement and relocate the library to an interim location and repeat the process for the New Central Library - all without a moment of downtime. Systems included copper and fiber infrastructure, telecom, WAN, server rooms, security systems, A/V, wireless, learning technologies and all technology equipment.
This project consisted of three parts including the interim relocation, the new construction and the voice system upgrade.
