TMC was selected by Sioux Center Hospital to provide low voltage engineering services for the design and construction of their new hospital and clinic facility, along with the integration of services for their remote locations. The project encompassed multiple systems, including network/IT, building automation, security/access control, nurse call, Vocera, patient tracking, overhead paging, AV, CATV, wireless clocks, and DAS. Additional technologies incorporated into the scope included the construction of a new radio tower, a patient tracking system, and the migration from a Centrex system to an on-premise IP telephony solution to support all eight campus locations.

The TMC team collaborated with the hospital and clinic project team, which included hospital staff, architects, the general contractor, and the owner’s representative from Walker & Associates, based in Minneapolis, MN. TMC ensured all technologies were implemented on time, meeting the project’s tight deadlines, including handling scope enhancements and additions. The new data center infrastructure was successfully implemented, offering improved resiliency.
